Dead Man's Land
Dead Man's Land is a region of ruined city located several miles from The Underground.
The area is part of the surrounding urban ruins left behind after The Collapse. It consists of abandoned buildings, damaged infrastructure, and fractured streets from the former city district.
Location
Dead Man's Land lies outside the crater that contains the Underground settlement.
The region forms part of the wider Surface environment surrounding the crater and connects to deeper sections of the ruined city.
Forsaken Presence
Compared to many other areas of the ruined city, Forsaken activity in Dead Man's Land is relatively limited.
Forsaken creatures are known to pass through the region, but they do not appear to remain there for extended periods. The reason for this behavior is unknown.
Surface Access
Dead Man's Land is one of the outer regions encountered by Runners during surface operations beyond the crater settlement.
Due to its proximity to the Underground, the area forms part of the surrounding environment used during resource recovery missions.
