The Factions section documents organized groups that operate within the world of JunkRats.

Following The Collapse and the spread of the Forsaken Virus, surviving humans formed small communities and groups in order to survive within the ruined world. Some of these groups operate as structured settlements, while others function as smaller teams working independently on the surface.

The Underground

The primary human settlement built inside the massive crater created during the Collapse, serving as humanity's largest organized refuge.

The Runners

Scavengers sent from the Underground to the surface to recover scrap, technology, and other resources from the ruins of the old world.

JunkRats

A small group of independent survivors who operate on the surface after separating from the Underground.
